If you don’t see your question here, feel free to fill in our enquiry form and we will get back to you.
Are you interested in booking an appointment or have any other questions?
Fill out our enquiry form here.
Upon reviewing your enquiry form, we will send you a follow up email with information about fees and location which includes a link to our online Intake Form for completion if you wish to proceed with booking.
When completing the Intake Form, it is important that you provide as much information about your needs/goals of therapy and schedule/availability. This information helps us to understand if I have the experience and knowledge to support you and if I have availability on the days/times that suit you.
Once we receive the completed Intake Form, we will contact you via email to inform you of my availability.
We will schedule several sessions in advance to ensure continuity of care. These appointments can be cancelled without cost, provided 2 business days’ notice is given, as per our Cancellation Policy below.
Our practice is located in Brookvale, close to the B-Line Bus main stop and Westfield Warringah Mall.
I offer in-person and online appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
- Initial Appointment (50 minutes) – $285
- Subsequent Appointments (50 minutes) – $255
Our fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.
We try to keep therapy as affordable and accessible as possible and our current fees are lower than the recommended rate set by the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) for 2024-2025, which is $315 per 50-minute session.
If you have been referred by your GP under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session, for a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year.
To access this rebate, you will need to:
- Visit your GP and request a Mental Health Treatment Plan
- Obtain a referral letter addressed to me
- Bring the referral letter to your first appointment
Please note that Medicare rebate amounts are reviewed periodically and are subject to change. I recommend confirming the current rebate amount with Medicare or your GP at the time of your referral.
If you have private health insurance, you may also be eligible for a rebate through your fund depending on your level of cover, please check with your insurer directly.
If you have been referred by your GP under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you Yes! A referral letter is needed for you to claim Medicare rebates for your therapy sessions. When consulting with your GP to obtain a referral for psychological services, please ensure that all the information below has been added to the referral:
- patient’s name and address
- the date it was prepared
- the patient’s symptoms
- the number of treatment services the patient needs to receive
- a statement confirming the patient has a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan
- the referrer’s name
- the referrer’s Medicare provider number
- the referrers signature
Please note that if any of the above information is missing from your referral, you will not be able to claim a Medicare rebate.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we request a minimum of 2 business days’ notice, so that we can allocate the appointment time to another client. If you fail to provide the requested notice, a late cancellation/no-show fee corresponding to the cost of the session will be charged and will not attract a Medicare rebate.
Late cancellation/no-show fees must be paid before your next visit, and failure to do so will result in the cancellation of all future consultations until payment is made.
In order to avoid being charged a cancellation fee:
- Appointments booked on Mondays must be cancelled by 5pm Wednesdays
- Appointments booked on Tuesdays must be cancelled by 5pm Thursdays
- Appointments booked on Thursdays must be cancelled by 5pm Mondays
- Appointments booked on Fridays must be cancelled by 5pm Tuesdays
Prospective clients who do not proceed with the Intake Process – all emails exchanged with prospective clients who do not complete the Intake From will be stored on the practice email client and deleted 3 months after the last contact.
