Welcome to our FAQ page! Here, you’ll find answers to common questions about our psychology services. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out to us directly.

How do I book a consultation?

If you are interested in booking an appointment or have any other questions, the best way to contact us is via our contact form or email

When you first contact us, we will send you an email with information about fees and location. If you are happy to proceed with our Intake Process, we will then email a link to our Intake Form.

When completing the Intake Form, it is important that you provide as much information about your needs/goals of therapy and schedule/availability. This information helps us to understand if I have the experience and knowledge to support you and if I have availability on the days/times that suit you.

Once we receive the completed Intake Form, we will contact you via email to inform you of my availability.

In order to ensure continuity of care, you will be asked to schedule a number of sessions in advance. Any appointments booked can be cancelled without cost provided you give us 2 business days’ notice.

Where are you located?

My practice is located in Brookvale, close to the B-Line Bus main stop and Westfield Wahrringah Mall.

I offer in-person and online appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

What are the Fees?
  • Initial Appointment (50 minutes) – $270
  • Subsequent Appointments (50 minutes) – $240
  • Extended Subsequent Appointments (80 minutes) – $360

Our fees are reviewed annually and are subject to change.

We try to keep therapy as affordable and accessible as possible and our current fees are lower than the recommended rate set by the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi) for 2023-2024, which $300 per 40-60 min session.

Medicare Rebates

If you have a GP referral letter, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $93.35 per session for a maximum of 10 sessions per calendar year.

Do I need a Referral Letter?

Yes! A referral letter is needed for you to claim Medicare rebates for your therapy sessions. When consulting with your GP to obtain a referral for psychological services, please ensure that all the information below has been added to the referral:

  • patient’s name and address
  • the date it was prepared
  • the patient’s symptoms
  • the number of treatment services the patient needs to receive
  • a statement confirming the patient has a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan
  • the referrer’s name
  • the referrer’s Medicare provider number
  • the referrers signature

Please note that if any of the above information is missing from your referral, you will not be able to claim a Medicare rebate.

What if I need to Cancel appointment?

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we request a minimum of 2 business days’ notice, so that we can allocate the appointment time to another client. If you fail to provide the requested notice, a late cancellation/no-show fee corresponding to the cost of the session will be charged and will not attract a Medicare rebate.

Late cancellation/no-show fees will need to be paid before your next visit and lack of payment will result in cancellation of all future consultations until payment is made.

Appointments booked on Mondays have to be cancelled by 5pm Wednesdays
Appointments booked on Tuesdays have to be cancelled by 5pm Thursdays

Appointments booked on Thursdays have to be cancelled by 5pm Mondays
Appointments booked on Fridays have to be cancelled by 5pm Tuesdays
